British Chess Championship 2024 Entry. The 2024 british chess championships will take place in hull from thursday 25th july to sunday 4th august. The trust has generously supported the british since 2006 and in 2024 awarded the english chess federation £10,000 to facilitate the promotion and organising of the event and to provide junior coaching during the championship.
The british chess championships will be held at hull city hall and the doubletree by hilton in hull city centre, with events running from thursday 25th july to sunday 4th august 2024 across the two city centre venues. The date and venue for the 2023 championships were announced on or about 20th january 2023.

The trust (an independent registered charity) was founded in 2006 to support junior chess in england.
Both The Open And The Women’s Sections Were Decided In Rapid Tiebreakers, With Gawain Jones Beating Michael Adams In The Open And Elmira Mirzoeva Beating Katarzyna Toma In The Women’s.
This will be the 110th british chess championships in a series which has run almost unbroken since 1904 and a welcome return to hull, which last hosted a full british in 2018.
